2014 Seasons Premiere - With Rob Simons (CEO of Toolbox Studios)

My mentor, Warren Rustand, once signed off an email to me with the phrase: "Govindh, you have so much to give, you had better start now."  I have been afraid of what he meant by that for so long that I think I have been somewhat paralyzed by fear when thinking about it. For a great deal of time I dismissed it, thinking that was just something that Warren says.  That he's such a great leader that he signs off his emails regularly in that way, the way we all say "Sincerely" or "Best Regards." The truth is that I did have more to give. I had more to do. I needed to uncork my full potential. But I had no idea how I was going to get started.  What magnificent first step would I make? I think ever since that day I had been looking for a big magic wand that would "fix" things to the point where I could do the things - the bigger things - that I wanted to do.  Huge things that I wanted to accomplish. But that's not how it works.  It works by taking a step - doing the thing that I'm afraid of and doing it now.  Doing it out in the open for everyone to see and possibly (eureka) even help me accomplish my personal, business, financial and educational goals. Well today I'm taking another little step - out in the open with all of you. Rob Simons, CEO of Toolbox Studios and Master Storytelller, returns to Paper Napkin Wisdom with a twist. Listen to the conversation to find out what happened.

PS. Thanks to Tom Pechloff for writing and performing the NEW Paper Napkin Wisdom Theme!
