Belief ...

One of the greatest things we can do as a leaders is to believe in people. Our teams, our families, and even people who have little immediate benefit to us. Offer them possibility and watch them light up.

Setting them free  

Leaders, we all want more freedom. Freedom can sometimes mean unlimited possibilities ... in every moment, all the time. Barrett Ersek shared that fear was prison and faith freedom. Most teams operate in a fear state. Fear of consequences has created an epidemic of the cc email. Everyone copies everyone all the time not for their inclusion, but more for the senders absolution of accountability. Faith can be defined as the belief in something that cannot be proven. Is not, then, confidence in someone who has never done something before a show of faith? More than that, leaders can show their teams a life of possibility by paying forward their faith in the team. We can also show this kind of leadership in every day situations, with the tax (or Uber) driver, the person who takes care of the rooms in a hotel, a retail store clerk, or even perhaps with someone who may have lost their way. Provide them with a life of possibility by paying forward your faith in them. Your faith in their dreams, aspirations, and inspirations. You'll watch as they light up - and that just might get you believing in a greater possibility for yourself too. Faith is exponential.
