Stop Building Consensus In Silos, Start Preaching Permisson, Perspective, and Patience - David Nilssen

David Nilssen has led his company, Guidant Financial, to impressive growth over the last 10 years, but he says that he only just recently figured out a recipe for accelerated growth and better than ever alignment. In his Paper Napkin Wisdom Podcast he discusses just how he figured it all out and put it together for his company and how long it took for the new system and structure to really take flight.  He talks about how he gets his team to torture the data and collaborate on insights and implementation plans for his company. The outcomes have spoken for themselves, but the best part is that he's been able to attract and retain really smart team members to drive the company forward. Incredible results - but the shift to this new structure was not easy and took persistence and patience. David describes how he got it done at his company and how it helps him and the company focused on what really needs to get done.
